1863 Civil War Token, Pontiac, Michigan, Morris & Messinger, EF

Here is an interesting Civil War Token.  It is brass instead of the typical bronze.  The state abbreviation is ‘NI’ in error instead on MI.

Obverse reads: Morris & Messinger/ Dealers in Hardware/ Iron, Steel, Nails & Glass/ Pontiac NI

Reverse reads: Good Samaritan, 1863 and depicts a stove.
