Spain, 1875, 5 Centimos, Charles VII Pretender Issue, MS63RB

Interesting one year type.  Charles VII (1848-1909) was a member of the Bourbon Dynasty.  He was a claimant to the Spanish Throne and controlled much of Spain during the Third Carlist War from 1872 to 1876.  Charles was defeated by King Alfonso in 1876 and exiled to France.

This coin comes with a 1960’s era Kraft envelope showing a price of $7.75!  KM#669.
