United States $2.50 Indian, Extremely Fine

Small Size Pre-1933 U.S. Gold

The $2.50 Indian Gold Quarter Eagle was issued from 1908 to 1929.   Only 15 issues of Indian Quarter Eagles were made.  All of these are readily available in circulated grades except for the 1911-D issue.  Because the series is small and the coins are not particularly expensive, Indian Quarter Eagles are an ideal collector coin.  Premiums on Indian Quarter Eagles are too high to be considered as a bullion coin.  If you find the unusual design intriguing or you are looking for a collectible series of U.S. Gold Coins, the Indian Quarter Eagle is worth considering.
